I would like to know if B.ed can be done through correspondence through this institute. I have completed my Mcom and am currently working due to which i cannot attend lectures. Will I be able to get admission for correspondence of B.ed.

Punjab University Chnadigarh Offers BEd in Correspondence

The entrance test for admission to the 2 year correspondence B.Ed course under Punjab University, Chandigarh had been conducted on 18th July,2010.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR ADMISSION TO B.ED. (REGULAR) & B.ED. (THROUGH CORRESPONDENCE)
i. Bachelor's degree of this University or any other recognised University with atleast 50 per cent marks in the aggregate, provided the candidate has offered atleast two school subjects at the first degree level.

ii. M.A. or M.Sc. or M.Sc. (Hons. School) or M.Com. degree of this University or any other recognised University with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in the aggregate, with combination of at least two school subjects at the first degree and postgraduate degree level.

iii. B.A. degree of the University through modern Indian Languages and English only examinations, in which case the aggregate of 50 per cent marks shall be calculated by taking into account the marks obtained in English and the elective subjects taken together.

Dear Ali, You must have 50% or more for admission in B.Ed. in all the states except SC/ST and PH candidates. However you can apply in J & K in next session since its 45% there.
