Alwar Institute of Engineering & Technology, established in the year 2005 at Alwar, is the second Engineering Institute of IET Group of Institution promoted by the All India Society for Advance Education & Research, New Delhi. The Institute was given NOC and approval by AICTE on 07 July 2005. It obtained affiliation from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur on 04 August, 2005, now it is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota after the administration and control of higher technical education was transferred from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.. The IET Group of Institutions are managed by a group of visionary professionals lead by its Chairman, Dr. V. K. Agarwal, (MBBS, MD, MBA) with a vision to fulfill a stupendous educational standards in Northern India particularly in the state of Rajasthan. Dr. V. K. Agarwal, Chairman of the group is supported by Dr. Manju Agarwal (Executive Director) and by Sh. Sanjay Prakash Garg (Director).
