M.H. Saboo Siddik Institute (commonly known as MHSS or Saboo Siddik or Saboo) was established in 1936 with a definite mission to disseminate a value-oriented quality education among the youth.
MHSS is affiliated to the University of Mumbai [1] and all the courses are recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE). It is 'A' Grade Institution, Accredited by NBA, AICTE and has a staff strength of about 154(57-teaching, 97-non-teaching) and the student strength is about 1200.
It aims to fulfill the increasing demand of ever-growing engineering industry requirement of engineers of our nation, which it has truly proved to the core. It is a part of the Anjuman-i-Islam Trust's endeavor towards improving the overall education standard in society.
The institute reached a landmark when it started the degree college in 1984-85. Within a short span of time of its inception, this engineering college ranked one of the best in Mumbai, and is viewed as a symbol of national integration and secularism. The college has developed thousands of brilliant and innovative engineers who have contributed to the development of the country.
The institute is known to produce technically sound engineers. L & T, Wipro, Infosys, Godrej & Boyce, Tata Motors, etc are few of the companies that visit this campus to meet their requirement of engineers.
