ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Admission is conducted only once in a year. (For admission of NRIs/Foreign nationals, see separate section at bottom) #
For admission, advertisement is given in National Newspapers.
Students are required to apply on the prescribed admission form. If any candidate wants to register for more than one course, he/she needs to register / fill up the form separately for each course.
Intake is based on the number of seats per Spe[censored]ation/Course as allocated by the University.
Admission to Degree Courses is made on the basis of merit as assessed through an Aptitude Test and Interview. Model Question Papers are not available as the Aptitude Test contains general questions, which need no Coaching /Study. However, Interview will be the deciding factor. Admission to P.G. Diploma Course is through interview only.
Admit card is issued to each candidate mentioning date and time of test/interview, along with the requirements for Aptitude Test.
Merit list is announced after the Aptitude Test. Interviews are conducted as per the merit list of the Aptitude Test. The Selected candidates are required to deposit the first instalment of fees on the spot (or within three days of selection).
After admission, students are required to submit their Original Mark-sheet and Original Migration Certificate for being forwarded to the Guru Nanak Dev University, which returns the Mark sheet after Verification. In case of last examination passed from any foreign Board/University, the candidate would be required to submit equivalency Certificate.
If a student decides not to join or attend classes, after having been admitted to a Course and depositing the fees, he/she will be entitled to refund of Caution money only.
COURSE / SPE[censored]ATIONS OPTED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION SHALL NOT BE CHANGED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AT ANY STAGE LATER ON.
