The Bangalore Institute of Technology or BIT as it is known was formed in the year 1979. It is located in Bangalore, or Electronic City/ Silicon Valley of India as it is often called. At first the institute started to offer courses on Engineering in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and Electronics and Communication.
