Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT) was established in the year 1986 as the first Engineering College in Private Sector in the undivided State of Madhya Pradesh. Started in a very modest scale with four undergraduate courses in Engineering (B.E.) and an intake capacity of 180 students, it has now risen to the status of an institution of repute for Technical education and Management studies in the region with six disciplines of Engineering at undergraduate level and six post graduate courses including MBA and MCA, and an annual intake strength of 620. The Institute is managed by a Board of Trustees headed by the Managing Trustee. Admission Procedure
· From this session (2010-2011),there will be On-line counseling.For the purpose students
have to keep a keen watch on the daily newspapers.There will be no call letters issued by
the DTE. Also student have to fill the Application form and submit it in college.
· Tentative dates of counseling is supposed to be after 15th of July.
· Student will be required to submit 4 copies of slip of the fees paid.
· The following documents should be kept ready, attested by the Gazetted officer,before
attending the counseling:
· Domicile certificate
· Caste certificate(permanent)
· Caste verification certificate(office is at Pt.Deen Dayal Upadhyay Nagar,Raipur)
· Marksheet of 10th std.(for D.O.B)
· Marksheet of 12th std.
· Freedom Fighter certificate
