The eligible candidates should be 10+2 passed in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. Lateral Entry Scheme is available for the candidates who have Diploma / Polytechnic in respective branch with minimum 60% marks or B.Sc. with Mathematics.
Admissions are done through counseling by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Examination Board based on Common Entrance Test (JCECE) score. Admission to 3rd Semester are granted through Lateral Entry Scheme, for 10% of the sanctioned intake, to the engineering diploma holders. If the seats are still vacant, these are filled up through Joint Entrance Test conducted by All India Association of Technical and Professional Institutions.
