Hi Parth Patel,

Selection Process

Admission to the 2010 Batch of B Tech (ICT) program will be based on the All India Rank of AIEEE 2010 (All India Engineering Entrance Examination 2010), which is being conducted by CBSE on 25 April 2010. Therefore, only candidates who are appearing for AIEEE 2010 can apply for this program of DA-IICT.

The short-listed candidates, based on the All India Ranking of AIEEE 2010, will be called for counselling at Gandhinagar and will be offered admission in order of their merit (based on the All India Ranking of AIEEE 2010).

A limited number of seats will be offered through a separate channel called ‘Direct Admission of Foreign and NRI Students’ (DAFS) to Non-Resident Indians, Foreign Nationals and Persons of Indian Origin. For details on DAFS, click here or contact the International Students Cell at DA-IICT

@ Paras,

MSC(IT) Integrated is a five year course

Master of Science (Information Technology)
Master of Science (Information Technology), is an intensive Program designed for students who wish to pursue a professional career in Information Technology. The courses have been carefully designed to guide the student through basic concepts up to current practices in industry. Hands-on laboratory experience is emphasized at every stage of the Program. The students are required to carry out industry internship in the last semester of the Program. At the end of this intensive two-year Program, it is expected that a graduate of the Program will be trained in three important and complementary requirements for a successful IT career. These are a sound theoretical foundation; an ability to analyse, conceptualise and design systems; fluency with modern software design and development tools. With these abilities, a graduate of this Program can expect to build a satisfying career in the challenging field of Information Technology – as software engineer, analyst and system designer

More About the Institute +

Few men in history have made as dramatic a contribution to their countrys economic fortunes as did the founder of Reliance, Sh. Dhirubhai H Ambani. Fewer still have left behind a legacy that is more enduring and timeless. As with all great pioneers, there is more than one unique way of describing the true genius of Dhirubhai: The corporate visionary, the unmatched strategist, the proud patriot, the leader of men, the architect of Indias capital markets, the champion of shareholder interest. But the role Dhirubhai cherished most was perhaps that of Indias greatest wealth creator. In one lifetime, he built, starting from the proverbial scratch, Indias largest private sector enterprise. Intellectual competitiveness is critical to India achieving global leadership in the information age. To build intellectual competitiveness, investment in education is an imperative. Technology education is critical ecause technology is impacting life, living and living systems like never before. Thus, technology education is like a cradle to global leadership. India can exploit the spiraling need for technology professionals and change her economic and social landscape dramatically. Indias present technology professional resource base is grossly inadequate. India will need to create ten times the current resource base to succeed in the knowledge economy. The Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT) is inspired by this vision of building intellectual competitiveness for India.
