* Candidates should have passed Karnataka 2 PUC / 12 Std. or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science /Electronics / Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects, * In case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes, the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility will be 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects.
Examination Pattern
* KCET is a multiple choice objective type test. It is a two-day test. * MHT-CET consists of four papers of one hours and twenty minutes duration consisting of Biology, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. * Each paper has a maximum of 60 marks. * Candidates seeking admission to Medical / Dental / Ayurveda / Homoeopathy / Unani / Naturopathy & Yoga courses have to appear for Physics, Chemistry and Biology papers in the KCET. * Candidates seeking admission to Engineering / Technology courses have to appear for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics papers in the KCET * For admission to Architecture course the candidate need not to appear KCET but they must appear NATA.
