Baba Hira Singh Bhattal Institute of Engineering & Technology, also called BHSBIET, is located at Lehragaga in Sangrur district of Punjab. The college has been established by the Government of Punjab and is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar. The institute is dedicated to the famous freedom fighter of Parja Mandal Movement - Baba Hira Singh Ji Bhattal, late father of Ex Deputy Chief Minister, Sardarni Rajinder Kaur Bhattal.

BHSBIET Lehragaga conducts various diploma and undergraduate level engineering courses. These include degree level programs Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. The college is planning to increase the number of courses offered.
