Diploma Course in Development Journalism for Non-Aligned and other developing countries
Duration:- 16 Weeks
Eligibility:- Every trainee will have to appear in the first and second semester examinations and secure a minimum of 40% marks in each subject.
Foundation Course in Communication for Indian Information Service
Duration:- 24 Months
Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising & Public Relations
Duration:- 1 Year

Postgraduate degree in any discipline and media related work experience is desirable but not essential.
Admission Procedure
Admissions to the courses at IIMC are made on the basis of an entrance examination held in third week of May in New Delhi/ Bhubaneswar / Kolkata Patna/ Lucknow/ Mumbai/ Bangalore/ Guwahati. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of written examination are called for a Group Discussion/Interview in first week of July in New Delhi. Candidates of Journalism (English) course can also be called for GD/Interview at Kolkata.

Thats a good comment. As far as I know, the leading communication schools such as The Delhi School of Communication (DSC), IIMC and others do encourage students even with a higher age limit to apply. More info may be found on www.dsc.edu.in
