Admission Requirements
Candidates aspiring for admission to the PGDHM program are required to fill in an application form, which can be obtained from the Institute by paying Rs. 1000/- in cash or by sending a demand draft for Rs. 1000/- drawn in favour of "Institute of Health Management Research", payable at Jaipur. Application forms can also be downloaded from our website: www.iihmr.org . IIn the latter case, applications must be sent along with a DD for Rs. 1000/- Application can also be made online followed by sending a downloaded printed form along with a DD for Rs. 1000/-.

Eligibility Requirements
For fresh graduates

* A Bachelor's degree from any recognized University with a duration of three years in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.
* Should have taken any one of the MATs to be conducted by AIMA on 6 September 2009, 6 December 2009, 7 February 2010 and 2 May 2010. In the last two years the cut off MAT score for admission to the course was 550 composite in the AIMA-MAT. This year the minimum cut-off MAT score will also be 550.

* Candidates appearing at the final year examination of the Bachelor's degree or waiting for the results of their final year degree examinations in 2010 may also apply. Selected candidates will be given provisional admission. They will be required to produce evidence of their graduation within two months of start of the session.

For working executives

* A Bachelor's degree from any recognized University with a duration of three years in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.
* Minimum of two years

Admission Schedule

* Last date for request for the application forms: June 10, 2010.
* Last date for submission of the application forms: June 12, 2010.
* Dates for Test, Group Discussion (GD) and Interviews: April 15-17 and June 17-19, 2010.
* List of selected candidates will be announced on April 17, 2010 and June 19, 2010 on the basis of Merit and Preference. .
* Candidates are to hand in their acceptance within 10 days from the date on which results are announced and deposit Rs 50,000 which will be adjusted in the first installment.
* The List of waitlisted candidates for both the Institutes will be uploaded on the website on June 30 and the applicants will be informed accordingly.
* Last date for closing of admission: July 6, 2010.
* Starting of the academic session: July 6, 2010.

Eligibility

The Indian Institute of Health Management Research (or IIHMR) is a niche institute in Health & Hospital Management. Established in 1984, in Jaipur, IIHMR is the first of its kind in India, with attention solely focused on health systems improvement and management. Recognized by Department of Science & Technology , Ministry of Finance and Government of India as a Research Institution. Accredited to International Hospital Federation & Association of University Programmes in Health Administration. The institute currently awards postgraduate diplomas with specialization in pharmaceutical management, hospital management and health management for administering the public health systems. It takes 120 students every year who have sat through the MAT entrance, followed by rounds of group discussion and an interview. The Institute undertakes training, research and consultancy in health management in close collaboration with international organizations such as UNFPA, UNICEF, WHO, World Bank, ODA, DANIDA, KFW & GTZ, NORAD, CARE and USAID. Working for Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (GOI), Planning Commission, Indian Council of Medical Research, state governments and others.
