Hi, Broadly categorized as Arithmetic, Algebra and Geometry CAT typically tests a student's quantitative ability from over 25 topics. These topics that appear in CAT are of high school level. For Arithmetic: Number Systems and Number Theory; Percentages; Profit and Loss; Simple and Compound Interest; Speed, Time and Distance; Pipes and Cisterns; Races; Averages; Ratio, Proportion; Mixtures and Alligations. Algebra: Linear and Quadratic Equation; Logarithm; Progressions - AP, GP, HP; Binomial Theorem; Inequalities; Permutation and Combination; Probability; Function; Set Theory.
