The department of Computer Applications was established in the year 1999. It has dedicated and well experienced faculty and supporting staff. The department has a well equipped lab and class rooms with modern teaching aids.

The objective of the department is to develop quality IT professionals by providing knowledge supplemented with a practical approach.

Activities of the department

Professional Activities

- All the students of our MCA departments are members of Computer Society of India (CSI).

- Our department has conducted many seminars and symposia in association with CSI.

- Elective subjects like Mobile Computing, TCP/IP, etc., are included for MCA students.

- Allied subjects like Accounting and Financial Management, Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science are included for MCA students.

- Students take up software development in their fifth semester and a full fledged project in their sixth semester.
