I have submitted my registration form for P.hd. in 12 MARCH 2010.
I haven't attached my NET certificate with the registration form.
Now I have qualify the NET exam after that I also compulsory to attempt the entrance exam of P.hd.
Candidates seeking admission in Ph.D. have to apply on prescribed form available from research section on payment of Rs. 150/-. The eligibility and other riles and regulations in detail are given in that form.
Normally candidate should have secured 55% marks in Postgraduate degree (50% for SC/ST) to be eligible to join Ph.D. The candidate has to apply initially for provisional registration, selecting a proposed topic for research, under guidance of approved guide of university. The for provisional Ph. D. registration has to be forwarded from a research center. After six months of submission of forms, candidate has to submit detailed research proposal on prescribed format. Afterward he will be called in RDC (Research Degree Committee) meeting. Candidate will be registered for Ph.D. as research scholar only after his topic and synopsis is approved by RDC. After registration the thesis has to be submitted by candidate in minimum two years and maximum four years from the date of registration.

i have qualified SLET2004 and i have submitted my registration form for phd in february 2010.no RDC till now.will i have to face the entrance exam scheduled to be held on 3rd april this year?but in notification it is written that SLET/NET are exempted.
