Correspondence courses in Law are not normally recognised by the Bar Council of India, so please check if the degree you are considering is recognised. Otherwise, you will not be able to practice law with this degree. If you are not planning to practice law after completing the course but instead would like to gain knowledge about the law or some aspect of it, then you can certainly do a correspondence course.

LL.B is professional course and can not be persued through distance learning mode anywhere in India, you can do Bachelor of General law/Academic Law (BGL/BAL) from Madurai Kamaraj or Annamalai University but with that you can not practice in the court of law. Those interested in persuing LL.B from any university will have to do it regularly or evening classes.Look for any evening law college in your city.

National Law School in Bangalore, National law school Delhi, Cochin university, Delhi university, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha university, Kurushetra university, Chanakya National Law University, Bharati Vidyapeth University, National Law School of India University (NLSIU) and almost all recognised universities offer these type of courses.
