The admission procedure for admission in CAlcutta University of law begins in month of August. Students are selected for admission through Entrance Test and Counselling. Application for admission is to be made in prescribed form within dates notified by college authority for each academic session. Admission form with prospectus are sold by college office on payment of rupees three hundred only (Rs. 300/-).
Candidates who have obtained their Bachelor Degrees (following 10+2+3 pattern) with at least 45% marks in aggregate and will not attain the age of 30 years at the time of commencement of the session on 01.11.2009, will be eligible for seeking admission to Three-Year LL.B Course.
However, the applicants are required to appear in the Entrance Test to be conducted by the college which is to be followed by counseling. Qualified candidates are required to take admission within the prescribed date and the list of qualified candidates and the said date of admission will be notified in the college notice board. The selected candidates will have to present all original mark sheets and testimonials for verification to the college office for the purpose of admission. Those who appeared at the Degree Examination, 2007 may also apply and will be admitted provisionally if selected. Their continuation is subject to minimum marks as required by the Bar Council of India.
