Eligibility 1. Graduates (10+2+3 pattern) of Gujarat state or out state universities in any disciplines provided they have passed H. S. C. or equivalent examination from a school situated in Gujarat state with Maths/Business Maths/Statistics as one of the subjects. Other rules ar per the norms of GTU. NRG and NRI candidates are also eligible to apply for GCET, but admission will be granted against management quota seats. 2. Candidates who have appeared in the final year examination can also apply.
Entrance The GCET committee under GTU will conduct the entrance test at various centers. The test will comprise of multiple choice objective questions in the areas of Quantitative Analysis, Logical Reasoning, Arithmetic, Verbal Ability, English and Gebaral Knowledge. Around 200 questions will have to be answered in 2-1/2 hours. Candidate may refer any book on IQ test and Aptitude test to prepare for the entrance test. There is no oral interview or group discussions.

Masters of computer applications (MCA), MCA education in India is increasingly becoming one of the most career defining courses due to sudden increase in the demand of IT professionals and MCA for them is just the right course to groom their computer applications skills. Generally, the students have to take an entrance test for admission to an MCA program in Ahmedabad. In some MCA institutes like IMT, Ghaziabad the candidates has to go through the process of a group discussion and an interview for getting admission.
