SMU offers MCA program. MCA, an acronym for Master of Computer Applications is a Masters Degree program. Those fascinated to take up the program can study it in distance learning mode. It is a 3 year long program comprising of 6 semesters. The program is ideal for those wanting to become computer wizards.

I & II Semester: The fees are Rs.12,200/- per semester (Exam Fee Rs.800/- & Alumni Fee Rs. 100/-) or as revised from time to time.
III , IV, V and VI semester: Rs.13,200/- per semester (Exam Fee Rs.800/- & Alumni Fee Rs. 100/-) or as revised from time to time.

Interested candidates need to ensure that they satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

General

Candidate should have completed 3 year Graduation
Provision for Lateral entry to second semester

3 year Graduation and a Six months computer course from a reputed institution
B.E (Non IT) / B.Tech (Non IT)
Provision for Direct entry to Third Semester

3 Year Diploma in IT / CS from a State Board of Technical Education
B.E. (CS / IT) / B.Tech (CS / IT) OR
DOEACC 'A' Level after Graduation OR
3 year Graduation with 2 year Diploma from NIIT / APTECH
