zubair, All what you have heard are just rumors and misconceptions to fool you around. There is no biasing in the companies or the job market based on region . If you are compatible and meet the demands of a company , you will definitely get a job, irrespective of where you belong. Many of my friends and seniors who belong to Jammu and Kashmir got the job after finishing their studies and are currently working in good companies. You are treated as a just as a candidate when you go for job interview without any biasing. The aerospace engineering is a very wide and detailed course. The course involves much minute details which cannot be just taught during B.Tech, Hence, sometimes, B.Tech graduates in aerospace engineering do not get a job and they go for Higher studies in aerospace engineering like MS or M.Tech. But the job prospects in this field are very good, the job you get in this field is well paid.
