Marudhar Engineering College was started in July 2003 with a missionary spirit. Our mission is to make this college as one of the reasonably good Engineering Colleges in the country so that our desire to participate in the national reconstruction programme is fulfilled. We have successfully completed Seven academic years and grew in professional strength by appointing excellent faculty and raising good infrastructure in the short span of Seven years. MEC has made rapid progress. The management has a vision to transform this college into a Deemed-to-be-University within reasonable time span of ten years. All our efforts are geared towards achieving this goal within the specified time limit.

Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test for Engineering (RPET)
70% seats in all disciplines are reserved for admission through RPET. Remaining seats are filled through AIEEE 15% and Management Quota 15% seats.
RPET is conducted by Govt. of Rajasthan for admission to first year of undergraduate programmes leading to Bachelor’s degree in different disciplines of Engineering (B.Tech.) in various Govt. aided and Private unaided technical institutions of Rajasthan (Except BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other Deemed & Private Universities).
Academic Eligibility:
The minimum academic qualification for admission through RPET-2010 is a pass in the 10+2 (Class XII) with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Sc./Biology as one of the optional subjects from Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other equivalent examination.
