Candidates are shortlisted for MBA programs on the basis of their CAT scores. Therefore for admission in MBA programs of kurukshetra University candidates have to appear for CAT. The candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of their scores in CAT have to appear for counseling for final selection.
MBA Courses offered:
• MBA (Service Management)- 30 seats
• MBA- 120 seats
• MBA (Hons)- 30 seats
• MBA (PG Regional Centre, Jind)-50 seats
Eligibility criteria:
A candidate should have a 3 years bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognized institute with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST). Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply.
A relaxation of 5% will be awarded for those candidates that are physically as well as visually handicapped. However, for general based candidates, there would be no rounding off the eligible cut off marks. For instance, if any candidate has achieved 49.5% and then applying for application with the hope that the candidates’ application will be accepted as the eligible marks will be rounded to 50% is highly unacceptable. The interested candidates should also have to appear in the CAT exam of the ensuing year of the admission.

In the undergraduate courses - B.Tech Degree Courses, admissions are made on the basis of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on behalf of the Govt. of India. However the admission to M.Tech. degree courses are made on the basis of candidate's score in the GATE examination. Seats are first filled up by admitting GATE qualified candidates and then by Industry sponsored Candidates. Remaining vacant seats are offered to Non-GATE candidates with a minimum of 60 percent marks (55 percent for SC candidates) in their qualifying examination. While GATE candidates are eligible for a scholarship of Rs. 5000/- per month. Non-GATE candidates are not given any scholarship.
