I have scorred 54% in PCM. I wish to get into Marine engg. Can I get a paid seat with this marks? Pls help me by replying at the earliest. I am ready to appear for any entrance exam whatsoever. Kindly reply.

Hi Chetan,
First Year Admissions
A) Eligibility Criteria (MHT-CET 2010 , AIEEE - 2010 )
1. Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std. XII) Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent Examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and
Secured minimum 50% marks i.e. not less than 150 marks out of 300 marks (minimum 45% marks i.e. not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together.
AND
2.1 Candidate should have Obtained a Non Zero Score in subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together at MHT-CET 2010.
OR
2.2 Candidate should have a valid Positive Score at AIEEE - 2010.
B) Allotment of Seats
1. 80% seats will be filled by Competent Authority of Govt. of Maharashtra (DTE) through CAP Rounds.
2. 20% seats and the vacant seats after CAP Rounds will be filled at Institute level. The admission procedure will be followed as per the rules of Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra.
Fees :- as decided by Shikshan Shulka Samiti.
