Where a candidate wants to take the benefit of any additional subject, the marks of any subject may be substituted by the marks in the additional subject at the option and to the best advantage of the candidate. Where the candidate has passed B.A. examination under M.I.L. Ordinances, his percentage may be calculated by adding the marks obtained by him in B.A. Part II and B.A. Part III. If the candidate so desires the percentage of marks obtained by him in Gyani/Prabhakar examination may be added to the marks secured by him in B.A. examination and his eligibility be determined accordingly. In the matter of calculating percentage of marks secured by a candidate in the lower examination for admission to a higher course if fraction worked out to ½ or more it should be counted as 1 and fraction less than ½ be ignored.
