Hi,

LL.B. THREE-YEAR COURSE :* For admission to LL.B. Part I, a candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in graduation/Postgraduation in any faculty from Punjabi University or has passed an equivalent examination from any other statutory university .
(b) LL.M. TWO-YEAR COURSE :** For admission to LL.M. Part I, a candidate should have secured at least 55% marks in aggregate in all the parts taken together of LL.B. (Three-Year/Five-Year) degree examination of this University or an equivalent examination from any other statutory university.
Provided that in case a candidate has passed LL.B. (Two-Year) degree examination at such time when he was eligible to get himself enrolled as Advocate under Bar Council rules at that time, his marks in LL.B. Part I and LL.B. Part II examinations in aggregate will be taken into consideration, subject to the condition that it will also be essential for him for the purpose of eligibility that he has not secured less than 55% marks in aggregate in LL.B. Part I and LL.B. Part II examinations.
Note : For admission to LL.B. and LL.M. candidates belonging to the following categories shall be allowed relaxation of 5% in the minimum marks required for eligibility.
Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes .
Physically Handicapped (such candidates will produce a medical certificate showing at least 40% disability).
Where a candidate wants to take the benefit of any additional subject, the marks of any subject may be substituted by the marks in the additional subject at the option and to the best advantage of the candidate.
Where the candidate has passed B.A. examination under M.I.L. Ordinances, his percentage may be calculated by adding the marks obtained by him in B.A. Part II and B.A. Part III. If the candidate so desires the percentage of marks obtained by him in Gyani/Prabhakar examination may be added to the marks secured by him in B.A. examination and his eligibility be determined accordingly.
In the matter of calculating percentage of marks secured by a candidate in the lower examination for admission to a higher course if fraction worked out to ½ or more it should be counted as 1 and fraction less than ½ be ignored.
