The admission procedure is as per guidelines from the Directorate of Technical Education. 80% Central Admission Process is effected by the State Government and 20% Institute level admission is effected by the Institute.

Those who have qualified in AIEEE are also eligible. The candidates must have pursued a pass in the senior secondary examinations with PCM or PCMB from any of the reputed institutions. They must have secured at least 50% in these qualifying examinations.
