# Candidates who wish to get admission to the PGDM program offered by the institute are required to have a minimum of a three-year bachelor's degree or its equivalent degree in any discipline. The degrees should be recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
# Candidates are required to have attained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their bachelor degrees.
# Candidates who are sitting for the final year can also apply subject to the condition that they complete their degree final examination before the month of June of that particular session year
Admission Process:
Appear for the online common admission test (CAT 2010) to be conducted by Indian Institutes of Management (IIM’s) between 27th October, 2010 to 23rd November, 2010 or appear for XAT 2011 on 02nd January, 2011 and update your online registration of XAT at www.xlri.edu to indicate your preference for SDMIMD.
Obtain SDMIMD’s Application Form PGDM 2011 – 2013 either from various coaching centres listed below or at the select branches of HDFC Bank, by paying an application fee of Rupee 1350/-.
You can download the SDM IMD application form from the website (http://www.sdmimd.ac.in/system/files/appl.pdf). Candidates who choose to download the form must send a demand draft of Rupee 1350/- (Rupee one thousand three hundred and fifty only) in favour of “SDM Institute for Management Development” payable at Mysore.
SDM IMD Forms can also be obtained directly from the institution by the paying the cash on site http://www.sdmimd.ac.in/system/files/appl.pdf. You can also avail of online facility to apply for the PGDM 2011 – 2013 Program.
Please send the filled in application form along with the demand draft / photocopy of challan / photocopy of coaching centre’s receipt (excludes TIME coaching centre) to :

Those appearing for their final year Bachelor's degree examination in April / May 2010 may also apply, provided they complete their final degree examination and meet other requirements before the commencement of the course in the first week of June 2010. They need to submit the degree certificate / provisional pass certificate and marks sheets latest by 31 August, 2010. Students may also be considered for admission on the basis of a valid GMAT score.
