Could you please let me know if AIEEE/COMED-K entrance rank list is used for admission in NIE? Or is there separate entrance examination for the same? Please let me know the details. Can other state students apply for this?

The National Institute of Engineering is located on Manandwadi Road, Mysore.

* The NIE Quadrangle, which houses the Administrative offices, Libraries, a state-of-art Gymnasium, Department offices, Laboratories, Bank, Centre for Appropriate Rural Technology, Workshops and a High Voltage Laboratory.

* The Golden Jubilee Complex, operational since 2000 which is located in a lush green campus. It houses the Golden Jubilee Building, a Canteen and a Playground area.

Recently, the construction of an International Standard Sport Complex has begun. It was scheduled to be completed by September 2008 but still in progress may be after march 2009.
