FMS MBA entrance exam is a MBA Entrance Exam conducted by the Faculty of Management Studies. The pattern of the exam includes Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Analytical Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension; all these are covered in about 175 questions.
Candidates applying for admission to the MBA full-time programme must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor's Degree programme after twelve years of formal schooling in any of the following disciplines. The minimum requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines is as follows:
Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences- 50% Sciences- 55% Mathematics or Statistics- 60% Medicine, Engineering or Technology- 60%/ CGPA of at least 6 on a scale of 10 OR
Post Graduate Degree or IInd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60%marks.
Relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility will be allowed only to candidates of the following categories (SC/ST/OBC/PH/CW).

Students applying for admission should have graduated with atleast 50% marks. The course begins in August and admission procedures begin in July. Notification for admission is expected by the end of April. 15 % of the seats are reserved for SC candidates and 7.5% for ST candidates. 5% seats are reserved for children/widows/wives of the officers and men of the armed forces including para-military personnel killed/disabled in action or those who died/were disabled in action or those who died/were disabled on duty. 3% sets are reserved for physically handicapped candidates. The Entrance Test Paper will have 175 Objective Type Questions with Multiple Choice Answers on : English Language Comprehension, to test the ability to analyse written information, comprehending the main ideas and significant details and drawing inferences from the material presented and testing the general comprehension of language including grammar; Analytical Abilities, Legal Awareness and Aptitude for testing the ability to evaluate an assumption, inference or argument that is presented in a short statement and solving the legal problems; for testing general awareness aptitude about law and the legal system; and General Knowledge. All sections may not have equal number of questions.
