Velammal College of Engineering and Technology was established in the year 2007 to impart quality technical education. It is a self financing non-minority institution, approved by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi and affliated to Anna University, Thirunelveli and Anna University of Technology, Madurai. This college is founded by Shri.M.V.Muthuramalingam,a Professional Engineer and the Chairman of the Velammal Educational Trust,Chennai.
Velammal College of Engineering and Technology is headed by Dr. N. Suresh Kumar, a vibrant leader with rich academic & administrative experience. He is strengthened by a team of richly experienced Heads of the various departments. The College has on its roll richly experenced and Well qualified faculty in all disiplines.
