Soumyadeep,
The admission in the M.Tech programmes in Maharashtra is done through GAte and no other state engineering exam is done other than GATE.
However, certain Universities and colleges conduct their own entrance test for admission in M.Tech.

Hi Soumya,

GATE score should be 300 and above.

Admission to aforesaid programs are preferentially done through GATE qualified candidates. The seats remaining vacant if any, after the admissions through GATE qualified candidates, are offered to non-GATE candidates on the basis of their merit in written test / interview conducted at respective departments of the Institute. Candidates (GATE qualified) selected under stipendiary seats quota are given GATE scholarship as per norms. Reservation of Seats is as per Govt. of India rules. Non-GATE candidates are not given any scholarship.
