Hi

To Whom it may concern

My son has just completed his GCE ‘A Level for the year 2010 and obtained the following grades

Maths A(H2)
Physics A(H2)
Chemistry B(H2)
Geography B(H1)
GP S(H1)
PW(project work) A(H1)
MTL (Tamil) B(H1)

He meets the Singapore MBBS requirement at NUS but due to the limited seats, decided to pursue in overseas. Currently he is serving his national service.

He is very much interested in pursuing MEDICINE after his completion of service. Alternatively we prefer to continue his study in India especially in Tamil Nadu.

Please enlighten us on how about getting on board and preferably in universities like Madras Medical College (Chennai), Vellore medical college, MGR university and so on

Pls advice accordingly where necessary

Tks & Rgds

I am from the U.S. and I was trying to study abroad in India. I have a interest in mechanical, aviation or any relative engineering. I want to go visit a few colleges next month. I am in a community college right now. The thing is I don't know where I should start. I don't want to study here in the U.S. So in order for me to go to India I have to tell my parents first. I need to show them where I am going and what I am going to do. This is what I want to tell them: I am going to look at this college in India that offers what I like and I need to go for a month or two. How do I tell them? Which college offers a little tour that takes like a month? I have to show my parents I am going to this college and they have a introduction tour thing that will take a month. I have to prove it to them that I am not going anywhere else.

Ram,
There is a provision of Direct Admission to the NRI's in Top Engineering colleges of AP. The colleges have reserved a fixed amount of seats for NRI's. The top college of AP is NIT, Warangal. It admits NRI through DASA quota and the admission is based on the marks obtained in 12th.
