Entrance test:
A Combined Entrance Examination is conducted by the University of Delhi for admission to First Semester of Bachelor of Engineering (BE) courses for candidates located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi in Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT).

Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate passing any one of the following examination from recognized School/College/Institute located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi only and securing 60 % or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics shall be eligible for admission to the first semester of Bachelor of Engineering Course.
The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for Combined Entrance Examination (CEE).

Age Requirements Candidates appearing for the CEE, must be 17 years of age and maximum 25 years of age on or before the first October of the year in which he/she seeks admission. Relaxation in minimum age up to one year only with the approval of the Vice-Chancellor is permissible. Such candidate should apply for relaxation only at the time of admission. |
EXAM PATTERN:
The combined Entrance Examination (CEE) consists of objective type questions in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
The syllabus of the CEE is almost same when compare to class XI and class XII of CBSE.
The test comprises of 3 papers with 240 marks each. The medium of examination for CEE will be in English only.
RESERVATION OF SEATS:
85% of the seats were reserved for the candidates who had passed the qualifying examination from the recognized Institutions located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi and the seat allotment will be done according to the CEE.
15% seats is reserved for the Outside Delhi Region candidates and the admission will be done on the basis of All India Merit Rank of AIEEE, conducted by the C.B.S.E. Candidates can either choose Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) New Delhi, or Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology (NSIT) New Delhi.
- Scheduled Castes: 15% of the total seats in each institution.
- Scheduled Tribes: 7.5% of the total seats in each institution.
- 5% of the total seats in each institution is reserved for the children/widows of personnel of Armed/Paramilitary Forces killed/disabled in action during the hostilities.
- 3% of the total seats is reserved for the physically handicapped students.
