Get your copy of CAT guide
With less than 20 days left for one of the toughest entrance tests to the premier IIMs, Prometric, which is handling CAT 2009, on Monday came out with a `Practical Guide for CAT 2009'.
This is the first time CAT is computer-based and over 2.5 lakh students across the country will brave it from November 28. The guide provides various aspects on CAT 2009, ranging from taking the test to time management. Here's a sample of the information it provides.
* Candidates taking CAT should bring with them acceptable forms of photo identification -- such as driver's license, passport, PAN card, voter ID, college ID, employee ID card, or a notarized affidavit with photo, signature, date of birth and residential address. "Candidates will not be permitted to take the test if photo identification and Admit Card is not presented. If the name has been changed due to marriage, you must show documents such as marriage certificate, divorce decree, legal name change etc. and submit a photocopy at the time of the test, interview, and at the time of joining a programme," the guide states.
