About IIM-Indore

IIM Indore is the youngest among the six Indian Institutes of Management. Indian Institute of Management Indore was set up in 1998 and is sixth of the IIMs. The campus of IIM Indore is sprawled over the area of 193 acre, located near the central Indian city of Indore. Indian Institute of Management Indore is a state funded management institute. The overall acceptance rate for IIM Indore is around 0.3 to 0.4% of the applicants. IIM Indore has gradually been increasing the annual intake of students for its two year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) course from around 50 in 1998 to 240 in 2008

Facilities

Indian Institute of Management at Indore has a world class campus. The Institute has fast and reliable computer network of more than 1050 Nodes. This Network is connected to the entire campus including the hostels, faculty blocks, admin block, classroom blocks, MDP block, and library & seminar blocks. Every room of the hostel has a dedicated desktop PC / Laptop connected on the Institute's network to provide round the clock access to the internet. Wireless network is also enabled in Faculty, Class room, MDC & hostel blocks. There is a campus wide LAN connected to the outside world through a VSNL 512 Kbps link. Apart from LAN all hostels are also connected with WiFi.

Programmes

The Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) offers a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) which is equivalent to an MBA. Programs offered by the institute are as follows:

·          The Post Graduate Programme (PGP)

·          Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)

·          Management Development Programme (MDP)

·          Executive Post-Graduate Programme (EPGP)

·          Post-Graduate Certificate Program in Management

Eligibility

Applicants should have at least a three-year bachelor degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/ AICTE as eligible for post- graduate studies in management.
