Jyotdeep - Bcom from DU is any day better. They have great education but greater exposure to various fields.

My daughter scored 91.5% in 10+2 commerce in best 4 subjects. If she gets B com in some good college in DU but BCom hons in SD college Punjab Univ, which one should be preffered?

If BBA is better than B.Com(h) or no really depends on the college/university, or rather the syllabus. Sukhdev College of Business studies is definitely anyone's 1st choice for BBA/BBS. But currently BBA is mostly offered by private universities that are way below the standard of B.Com(hons) from DU.
B. Com(Hons) has a recently updated syllabus and very well structured. Infact, when a B.Com(hons) student goes to a B-school, s/he doesn't need to study in the 1st year at all- they would already have covered the 1st year MBA syllabus in B.Com(hons).
anyways, you should take and informed decision. As I said, the syllabus really matters. Go through it and then compare. Doing B.Com(Hons) is definitely better than doing BBA from colleges other than a couple of reputed ones.
