Dear Sir,

My son Bhavin has passed XII (Science) who intends to join in Electronics & Comm. or Info. Technology. He has secured overall 67%. PCM scores 60, 57 & 55 respectively. He studied in Riyadh and wants admission under Gulf/NRI Quota. Pls. help me where can he find admission in good college. First pref. is in Gujrat. Will he get admission under NRI Quota.

Eligibility

Passed the HSC (10+2) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with following subjects: English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured minimum 50% marks i.e. not less than 150 marks out of 300 marks (45% marks i.e. not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks for OBC candidates from Maharashtra) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together.

a) For the candidate of Maharashtra State
In addition to educational qualification as specified, candidates are required to appear for MHT-CET 2009 and secure nonzero score to be eligible for admission for State Quota (65%) seats through Central Assessment Process (CAP).

i too hav applied 4 pec n got uiet insted of pec... coz in counselling u hav pec uiet n ccet these 3 colleges n in defence categories there r lot of categorie ..... but u need atlest ....below 40thousand... n u can get if u freedom fighers son ... den ny rank....so best of luck ...

I see that Zakir Hussain College of Engg.
& Tech of Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh is not even mentioned. Even though Govt. of India wanted to give it IIT status.
