You can just directly apply to any degree college. As your percentage is more than 60%, you will get admission very easily.

i completed my diploma in elelctrical field in july 2009 frm surat teb board.. i wnt to admission in degree course in any aicte approved college. my result is 62.63%. how can i applied?

Do not make your life decisions based on what others have done (especially where you are not considering getting an education because others are ahead of you). Age is just a number.

We have a mid 30 to 40 year old in our EE program... Do what you love, no matter how long it takes or when you do it.

It's of course up to you to decide if it's worth it.
