B.Ed Admission Process in Uttar Pradesh

B.Ed admission in UP is a 2-year undergraduate degree which concocts pupil to work as a teacher in schools.
B.ed. is a course offered for those inquisitive in pursuing their future in teaching.  The B.Ed. course is mandatory for teaching at the secondary and higher secondary. In, some parts of countries additional work must be done in order for the pupils to be fully qualified to teach.

The entrance exam for B.Ed admission in UP is conducted by Lucknow University, by the name of Joint Entrance exam - B.ED (JEE-B.ED).  

Eligibility For B.Ed:

Arts, social science or Science students of general and backwards category must be graduated with minimum 50 % marks from a recognised university.  

Eligibility Exception:

  • minimum percentage required for B.E or B.Tech graduated is 55%

  • Final year candidates are not allowed to appear in the exam.

    • 5% relaxation in graduation will be given to Disabled students (blind).

    Age limit:

    There is no upper age limit for admission to B. Ed. Courses.

    How to Apply:

    Following is the application process of B.Ed admission in UP which is divided into 4 phase:-

    Phase 1

    The candidate have to Apply online

    Phase 2

    After filling the basic details candidate have to make payment
    (can be done in any branch of H.D.F.C or through E-challan)

    Phase 3

    complete the further required details ( upload photo, signature, fee details ) and take the printout of completed form

    Phase 4

    Send the hard copy of the completed filled form with the payment receipt via Speed post or Registered post



    Application Fees: For General category and backwards classes is Rs 1000/- (Rs 550/- for SC/ST).


    B.Ed Entrance Exam Pattern:
    JEE- B.ED entrance exam is the name of entrance exam conducted by the university. The pattern for appearing into this exam is:-
