Shortcut to crack CAT in India

Everyone desires to crack this examination referred to as CAT via preparing it for hours and hours but is it really probable for every one of them? Of course not, it is only possible for those apprentices having the correct planning, management strategy and visualization.

The CAT or common admission test is a computer dependent examination conducted in India. Its marking is based on the quantitative as well as qualitative ability of the candidate, interpreting data, the logical reasoning and also the verbal ability. The IIM began this test for choosing the appropriate candidate for one’s business supervision programs. The examination is being held each and every year by any one IIM according to their policies of rotation.

CAT entrance examination have been modified in one way or the other every year, if you have make up your mind to crack it then let me warn you it is not at all going to be easy.

Here are some tricks and tips to crack this examination.

Tip #1

The apprentices must concentrate more on the topics or subjects which they are acquainted with instead of focusing on each and every one. The three things are very significant in every entrance examination; they are time, correctness and your speed. So the apprentices must not waste their precious time in attempting each and every one of the question which they are not known to. Just go through the paper in the beginning time and select those which are your comfort arena of specialization and attempt only those. If there’s some spare time, then you can attempt the others as well.

Tip #2

The practice is the only thing that can able you to save your time & enhance one’s topics in which you are not so good. The apprentices must look & observe all the last year papers of CAT and try to understand its pattern. They should also evaluate whether they are that much capable to solve that or require some enhancement in their capabilities. The areas that they feel the toughest must be improved in the beginning then only move to less tough and so on.

Tip #3

You have to begin your preparation from now on wards and as immediate as you can after your decision, so that you can concentrate on your weak areas too in an effective way. Another reason is to squandering more time to CAT can allow you to develop more understanding and will thus enhance your scoring. The beginning preparation will certainly prove good for apprentices since it provides sufficient time to them for practicing more and more.

Tip #4

The apprentices should take mock tests weekly and evaluate and determine your faults and where you are wrong on a week basis. You may also opt for online mock tests to practice more and gain better understanding of the subject areas and you’ll have the chance to correct your faults there only and will give you a tip for the CAT exam so that you may not repeat the same in the reality.

Tip #5

Practice numerical questions and calculation part daily to gain better understanding and increasing your velocity in attempting the questions. For that just practice more and more mock test question papers or if needed make your own question paper and solve it. You can learn some shortcut tricks to solve all the questions in minimum time.

Tip #6

You have to understand that the CAT examination is conducted to test and evaluating your basic skills of the concepts. So, rather than concentrating on toughest parts, focus on your fundamentals first.

Tip #7

The apprentices must go through newspapers n magazines on a daily basis to enhance one’s terminology. They must commence eight months prior to improve the same. Fix some time period for that and make it a daily routine.

Tip #8

In any examination, the most important thing is to maintain the consistency, speed/velocity and correctness of the attempted questions. And to achieve that perfect planning must be there.

Tip #9

Just never guess any answers in CAT examinations since there are negative marking too. If you do so then the chances of being selected will get diminished.

Tip #10

And most important never take stress, just be relax and try to avoid any mental pressure on your selves. In this way you can attempt all of the questions more correctly. Don’t forget to take your admit card, pens etc with you and reach the examination hall before 30 min. And be positive as well.
