IIT- JEE 2016 candidates are gearing up for the mock tests which will be held from second week of January. Candidates have also started preparing by practicing last year’s All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) mock test. Students can appear for the practice exam here Candidates will also be allowed to make changes in their application form once in January after registration. The mock tests test will be conducted for 3 months. Mock tests will aim to make the students aware of the new JEE pattern. More than 1.2 million students are expected to appear for the test. The test will be conducted both in the pen-and-paper and online formats. IITs have agreed to a two-part exam and the use of board exam marks as an eligibility and not admission criterion. The students are required to clear both exams and be within the top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their Class 12 board to get admission.
