There are students who have slight interest in technical issues and IT areas but they get confused in order to know which field they wish to choose Bachelor in computer applications BCA or Bachelor of technology B.tech. There are many students who come up with the queries like whether they should go for BCA or B.tech degree.

Bachelor of Computer Application: BCA Degree is a three year degree course and there are various institutes and universities in India that provide the BCA Course.The BCA Course deals with the software design, the database management and also deal with working with the multiple data in the computer.

The various subjects that are taught in BCA are C languages, Data base Management, Logical Analysis, Operating systems, software Engineering and the client server technology.

Students can even opt for MCA course after completing BCA Course. Once you complete MCA you can work for IT industry.  BCA degree provides the basic concepts that are taught in


BCA is good course but comparatively B.tech is given the importance. With BCA degree the student can start to work as junior programmer or the software tester and then move on to the higher position and work as the senior programmer.

A student from any stream can apply for BCA degree provided the basic eligibility criteria is completing 10+2 from any stream with at least 50% marks.


Bachelor of technology is the course among all the courses that is opted by the student these days. It is a four year professional degree and engineering is also offered in various specializations like Information technology, electronics and communications, computer science, electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, civil engineering and many more.

In B.tech the various programming languages, digital and analog subjects, electronics subjects, Database management systems, networking systems and telecommunication subjects are taught.

Students after 10+2 in science stream can opt for the engineering degree. There are many engineering colleges in India that provides the best engineering course.

Students who complete B.tech degree from reputed colleges or IITs are always in huge demand both in abroad and India.

IT and computer engineers who have completed the B.tech program not have only opportunities in IT Industry but also in Banks, Airlines and manufacturing industries.

The students who have passed 10+2 in science stream with minimum 50% are eligible for the students. The candidates also have to appear for joint entrance examination for seeking admission to the engineering colleges like IITs, NITs and other engineering institutes.

Bachelor of Computer Application is a three year bachelor's course and there are various universities and institutes in India that provide this course. Once you complete BCA course you can also do MCA course and the duration of the course is 3 yrs.

Candidates with B.tech degree will be given more importance to the students. But students with MCA degree still expect a good high salary.

B.tech is an advanced course and comprehensive course when compared to BCA. B.tech mainly deals with the technical aspects and helps you to reach the level of an engineer where as BCA degree provides the base for the higher studies.

Both NEET and AIPMT are conducted for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses, NEET is national level test, while AIPMT is conducted by CBSE for admission to these courses in government medical and dental colleges of all places including Poonch

You should take branch according to your interest, if you have interest in software or programming choose computer science, if you have interest in machines, choose mechanical, etc, some good engineering colleges are P.S.R. Engineering College
