Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is inviting the online applications for 29,000 seats across 150 working programs in the new academic session

In order to seek admission to these courses in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University the candidates have to fill and submit the application form online and even the payment should be done Online.

Here there are two forms one is for capturing the personal and the general information and another is for capturing the course and the payment details.

Here the candidate can apply for one exam category at a time. Individual registrations are also required to apply for the different exam categories.

Once the candidate has submitted the details then they cannot edit the same an also have to register in case they need to change any personal information.

There are three examination categories

1. Engineering/Professional/Medical Program.

2. Ph.D

3. Postgraduate Medical Course (PGMC/M.D/M.S/D.M/M.Ch)/super specialty medical Course.

The remaining details of the courses that are provided by GGSIPU will be mentioned in the official website of the University along with the codes, the eligibilty information and the common entrance test application form.

There will be 58 test codes for various programs that is provided by the university out of which the university will conduct the CET's for 51 test codes. And the remaining seven test codes for which there will be no CET Exam conducted consists of BArch, Diploma courses and some weekend programes.

For the first time the University has decided to conduct the CETs for all the regular programs. And also there will be online counselling for B.Tech and BBA Program.

The Eligibility criteria for seeking admission to the MA Course in Criminology has been changed, earlier only LLB graduates or Sociology graduates were eligible but now graduates from any background can apply.

And there will be no CET for lateral entry to the B.Pharma program and there will be separate  CET exam for the B.Sc in Yoga programs.

In order to take admission to the MBBS and BS Courses the Institute will conduct its own CET exam.

The candidate can select and fill as many courses that he/she wants in the same form, if all the selected courses belong to the same category. If the candidate is interested in filling the multiple courses across the different exam categories then he or she will have to register the courses separately.

Now the first shift of the program will run from 7 am to 3 pm and the second shift will run from 1 pm to 9 pm in the institutes that is affiliated to the university.

The last date to submit the application form for the postgraduate medical courses is 20th March 2014. And the last date for submitting the applications for the BArch course is 3rd July 2014. For the rest of the programs the last date for applying the course is 10th April 2014.

The Indraprastha University also has 111 affiilated  institutes out of which 27 belong to Delhi government and the centre.

The University has 13 schools of studies and three specialized  centres. The total annual intake is about 29,000.

Through the IPU CET 2014 brochure the University invites the applications for the eligible candidates who want to take admission to the Engineering course and B.Arch programs.  The admissions to these programs will also be made on the basis of inter-merit of the qualified candidates.

The brochure and the application form is for MBBS, BDS, Post Graduate medical Degree/Diploma and the super speciality   Medical Courses. The price of the Admission brochure form is Rs 1000. The cost of admission brochure and the application form is Rs 1000 and even is non -refundable. And no other fees are required to be submitted along with the application form.

If the payment is not successful then the amount will be reverted back to the customer's account within the 5 to 8 working days. The online application once approved then the fund cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

The Admission Brochure along with the Application form will be on sale from 15th February 2013 on all the working days (during the normal banking hours).
