Lateral entry for B.tech one of the good option

Diploma engineering courses will provide you the early entry into the job market or the company after the high school. The decision to study the diploma course is opted by many students due to their professional or the personal reasons. There are many Engineering Colleges in India that provides the best education.

After getting the work experience most of the diploma holders tend to go for lateral B.tech in order to get the promotions and also avoid the stagnancy in growth.

There are many pros and cons of studying the lateral B.tech with the regular B.tech after class 12th.

Following the Regular BE or the B.tech course over the diploma courses here there is a big difference in the attitude of those having the regular B.tech and the lateral B.tech course. Usually the students will unable to take admission in the B.tech degree through the entrance exam opt for the diploma courses. Usually i don’t know about the private sector but in the government sector there is a great difference between the job responsible of B.tech and the diploma holders.

10 to 12 yrs of job experience is treated equal to B.tech fresher. Most of the students who are opting for diploma course lies either financial problems or may be the student is not good in studies and his parents force him to go with diploma option after 10th.

If the candidate has already completed diploma course and is pursuing the job then it is absolutely fine if he decides to pursue to study BE or B.tech parallely through part time or distance learning.

The organizations prefer the candidates with the regular education rather than the distance or the part time. For getting the job in MNCs the candidate should have 16 yrs of education which is not the case with the diploma.

Even the part time degree also will add an advantage if the candidate will have the good basic degree.

The lateral entry is subject to prior education in the diploma with the respective specializations or Bsc with Maths as the subject in the first year or the second year or the third year. The lateral entry assumes that the candidate has already done his basic technical learning at his prior education here first year can be exempted and the candidate can be admitted to the second year directly.

Once after getting the degree the students from the streams will looks or the job and both will have equal offers in the market. Students who have a diploma degree might face problems in studying the B.tech degree as they would not have read the entire subject in detail.

Indian engineering education system provides the technical education that has little employability. In some states the curriculum for diploma will not allow them to study the engineering degree.

Both the options have their advantages and their disadvantages. Getting the good work experience and then going for further studies is an advantage and also will create a better impact on the candidate's resume.'

Lateral entry will help you to gain the practical knowledge apart from the theory. Here one needs to get the further qualification to get the higher position at work. Here for instance the civil engineering will provide the good plan for the building but the person who is doing the work is having more practical knowledge.

B.tech education after class 12th is one of the best education but taking admission in direct second year is a good option. Once you have good experience and knowledge then your chances of getting good salary also increases.
