A new education policy is likely to be announced by The Government of NDA by the end of November this year. According to various sources it was also noticed that several organizations affiliated by RSS have submitted their proposals for a new policy, which will further be discussed by the officials of HRD ministry, who will complete the task by October most probably.
This Saturday, Smriti Irani, who is a HRD minister spend a lot of time discussing the proposals for new policy with various members of several organizations affiliated by RSS working in the education sector. The respective meeting was conducted at her own residence. In order to discuss the related issues, a huge group of around forty persons who belong to a dozen organizations affiliated by RSS will be in a meeting along with Smriti Irani, according to the sources.
According to various sources, Smiriti Irani in the meeting stated that she will try her best to announce the new policy for education by November this year. People who were present in the meeting were representatives from Shiksha Sanskriti, Uthan Nyas, Shiksha Bachao Andolan, Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh, Akhil Bharatiya Itihaas, Sankalan Samiti and Vidya Bharti. The meeting was also co-ordinated by RSS sah-sarkaryavah Dr. Krishna Gopal.
Issues and problems like better and improved coordination between organizations affiliated by RSS and Minister from HRD was also discussed. In the meeting issues like whether bureaucrats can be nominated as heads of institutions which are academic, the right to completely prepare the syllabus by universities, re-writing books of history, and the nomination of vice-chancellors.
