The reason why so many b-schools in India and engineering colleges in India are shutting down?

The reason why so many b-schools in India and engineering colleges in India are shutting down

There are many engineering colleges in India that provide the best Engineering program in India and also there are many Management colleges in India that provide the best MBA degree in India. There is lot of demand for MBA education in India but as per the AICTE (All India Council for technical education) nearly more than 100 b-schools have downed their shutters in the year 2016 and nearly 101 have closed this year.  And few colleges in India have decided to change their course from MBA to MCA Degree in India.
More number of Engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh, uttarpradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab and Rajasthan have decided to shut down the college.

Many engineering colleges and MBA colleges in the remote areas because of poor quality education are not able to attract the students. Still most of the students try to opt for top Management colleges and Engineering colleges in India. In this academic year more than 94 management colleges have decided to shut down. There are many engineering colleges also in the southern states that experiences the highest growth in the professional education space are now for sale. Many engineering colleges also have reduced providing the courses and the programmes in branches of engineering or in streams of Management course.  On the point of academic view, the Master of Business Administration Program was very good but today i.e. in the year between 2016 and 2016 the AICTE has received more than 200 applications from the Management colleges to shut down. And hence AICTE has agreed nearly more than 80 in number.

The same goes with MCA i.e. Master of computer applications nearly more than 80 colleges have stopped offering the programming languages last year but now only 27 colleges are now offering MCA degree. Now the AICTE has decided to allow the colleges to offer five year dual degree programme and allow the students of science graduates, B.Sc. in Computer science and B.Sc. in Information technology to directly go to second year of the MCA course. There is some small growth in the Engineering colleges as most of the engineering colleges are setting up Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttarpradesh, and Maharashtra.

The AICTE chairman said that engineering colleges in India or other top colleges in India have to offer the Placements for the students to take admissions. MBA colleges should do everything from the placements and business point of view, recently the chairman also said that they have received nearly 120 application from b-schools for the coming next academic year.

Getting admissions in top MBA colleges in India and top B-school in India is the aim for most of them, but due to lack of seats availability they choose the college which ever they get and finally they don’t have any choice left with them. And in the last they don’t get a good job because of poor quality of education, lack of adequate faculty and this is the reason why most of the colleges are getting closed at the end. The students are mainly concerned about the placement details and the fee structure rather than the quality of education end of the day students will be happy only if they get placed. Hence lot of colleges and institutes in India has to improve on this.
