Defence as Career: Indian Navy/Indian Army/Indian Air Force

Perhaps the stability, security, security and well-being of our country is a strong, disciplined, and die-hard defence force. Force of India present opportunities for professional as well as personal growth to candidates who have it in them.

GATE (M.Tec)

GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineers) is common entrance test that provides successful candidates with various opportunities for attractive scholarship/assistantship for postgraduate courses in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy at Engineering Colleges/Institute in the country. GATE qualifies candidates in engineering subjects will also be eligible for the award of Junior Research Fellowship in CSIR Laboratories.

GRE

The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) administered by the Educational Testing Services(ETS)for admission into all graduate academic programs  (except Management)in universities across USA and Canada and some selected universities across the world including India. The exam is a computer adaptive test and is administered at any of the sylvan testing centres in the country after prior registration. English proficiency tests like IELTS and/or TOEFL score are required for international students to get postgraduate admission in the Australian/US/UK universities.

MBA (CAT)/XAT/MAT/FMS/IIFT/SNAP/GMAT…)

MBA is the most promising post-graduation option .It thrown up jobs in the fields Finance, Personnel Management, Sales-Marketing International Business, etc. Tries offered by Today, a Management Degree has become an attractive proposition ,as there are attractive entry level salaries(including salaries offered by some MNC’s )and typically, a Management Graduate gets absorbed into a company through the campus placement program of the institute.

Public sector

A lot of public sector undertaking (PSU) under the aegis of Government of India regularly provide for employment opportunities in various area. Job seekers can apply to these undertakings, according to their required job profile and area of interest.
