All about NMAT Entrance Exam 2016

NMAT 2016 will be held over a three month window from October 7th 2016 to December 20th 2016. NMAT scores are used for providing the admission to SVKMs Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. The exam is conducted by the Pearson VUE.

The last date to register for the exam is Wednesday, September 24th 2016.

Last fee registration commences from Septemenr 25th 2016 to October 4th 2016.

Candidates have the option of taking the exam two more times.Best of three scores will be used for admission

Programmes on offer are MBA, MBA and PGDM-Bengaluru or PGDBM Hyderabad, PGDM-Bengaluru or PGDM Hyderabad.

The prefernces once given cannot be changed later.

Test Pattern

NMAT 2016 admissions notifications have been announced. NMIMS Management Aptitude test will be held from October 7th 2016 to December 20th 2016  . The test meant for admissions to SVKMs Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies will contain the objective type multiple choice based questions.There will be no negative marking in the test.

If the candidate is not satisfied by his or her NMAT score in the first attempt then he or she may schedule for Re-take NMAT by visiting the www.pearsonvue.com/nmims and logging in with the alloted username and password.In case of the candidates taking more than one attempt the best score which is the total score and its respectie sectional score which make the candidate eligible as per the cut offs declared by NMIMS will be considered for short listing for the subsequent process.

Aspirants should note that the performnace in each of the 3 sections of the test and the overall performance of the candidate in the test will be considered.

The last date to register for NMAT 2016 is October 4th 2016.late registration will commence from September 25th 2016.

Candidates have the option to taking up to two retakes.In such cases the best of three scores will be considered.

The school offers MBA, MBA in HR, and MBA in Pharmaceutical management, PGDM-Bengaluru Campus and PGDBM-Hyderabad campus.

Various other B-schools also use the NMAT scores for admission.

The Admission Process

The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of NMAT Scores.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for Case Discussion and Personal interview.

Candidates academic performance work experience and other inputs will also be considered.

CD and PIs will be conducted in Mumbai only. For CD/PI the candidates have to carry their NMAT admit card. Candidates have to view results on website.No sepearte call letter will be mailed.

Selection Criteria

Selection criteria are be based on merit basis. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of NMAT scores, work experience, case discussions-personal interview and prior academic performance.

The admission notification for NMAT 2016 is out.

The test will be conducted in selected cities from October 7th 2016 to December 20th 2016.

Candidates can apply for the exam latest by Saturday, October 4th 2016. Candidates can take the exam for three times in total in which case the best of three scores will be considered.Candidates can choose their suitable examination dates.
