Right from the date of announcement of the CAT Entrance exam, the candidates start preparing for the entrance exam.A good grip is required to get the best ranking in the CAT Entrance exam.

CAT Preparation before the entrance exam

All the IIMs and other top B-schools in India conduct the CAT Entrance exam for giving admission to MBA Courses. All the IIMs are well equipped with the preparatory tools in the form of information, videos and the practice test for the CAT website. Here the candidates can take the practice test and the familiarize themselves with the exam screen layout navigation tools like Next, Previous, Mark etc. While practicing just review screen and the on screen timer. Students are also requested to check about the location of the test center, check the travel time, the status of the traffic and then plan the traffic accordingly. A Map should be there with the travel directions and that will be available there in all the test centers in the CAT websites. Candidates should arrange all the required documents two days before itself to avoid the stress. Documents like Admit card CAT 2016, valid and the original Photo identification.

The SC/ST and other special category candidates should also bring the supporting documents with them.

At the Test Center

1. Carry the right documents-latest Admit card, original and the valid identifications/ST support documents.

2. Plan the travel with the proper time, check the map and the directions on the CAT website.

3. Arrive at least one and a half hours before the scheduled time.

4. Make the maximum use of the practice test to get the confidence of the test.

5. Check the emails regularly for any updates.

Only Registered CAT Exam 2016 candidates will be allowed inside the test center. Candidates here should present the Admit card and the photo identification. The candidate has to carry this all the time. Apart from the Admit card, Photo identification, SC/ST documents only will be allowed in the testing room. Candidates are required to keep their personal belongings in a plastic bag. They should bring the bags, the large items and other things in the test center.

As a rule of Biometric Check in process, the candidate's digital image as well as the fingerprint will be captured. Here it will be useful for the IIMs to verify the candidate's identity during the follow ups interviews. Once the check in process is completed the candidates here will be assigned the seats. There will be some time given to the candidates before the exams starts so that the candidates can be checked in.

Prior to the commencement of the actual test the candidates will be provided the scratch paper, pencils and the eraser and these will be used during the test. Once after reading and accepting the non disclosure agreement, the test will start. The candidates here will first present with the Quantitative ability, Data interpretation countdown timer set at 1 hour 10 minutes will appear on the right top corner of the screen. The candidates can navigate within this section using the Next, Previous and the review buttons. The two sections here are separately timed test takers can focus all the energies on one section at a time.

Once here the time ends for the first section, then the candidates will no longer be able to go back. The second section is verbal ability and the logical reasoning will then begin. And again the fresh timer will start counting down once again from 1 hour 10 minutes. All the testing areas will be audio and the video recorded and any suspicious behavior could lead to the candidate's test being invalidated by the IIMs. For any issues that occur during the test the candidates may raise their hands to notify the test center administrator. A technician also will be available every location.

All the test centers will be well examined before the exam. In case of any technical issue the candidates are required to remain calm and immediately alert the test center administrator. In case a new terminal is assigned to the candidate the test will resume from the point it was left so the candidate will not lose any testing time. All registered candidates will get to test within this year's testing window. Candidates should not forget to check their emails and CAT website regularly for all important updates.

yes, your percentage is very low, I will not suggest that you should choose engineering as a career, but still you want to do engineering you can try for private college in Kochi, they will admit you.

You should consider the fee structure and if you consider doing this course from other place except Tonk, you should consider hostel facilities, you shouldalso consider whether the subject in which you wish to continue this course is available in the college.

This course in Porbandar is offered under different specializations, To get admission to a particular specialization, applicants must have completed their higher secondary in 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 format, Both higher secondary/pre-university and degree must have been obtained from a recognized board and recognized university respectively.
