A candidate with Master of arts degree will not give you the opportunity to explore the career options in India but also globally. As per Times Jobs of India the report says that Middle East and North Africa have the maximum share of jobs that are up for grabs for Indian MA graduates. The US and UK are the other two international locations where MA graduates are most sought-after.
The main reason why foreign companies hire Indian candidates with M.A degree is the lack of manpower. When the foreign companies hire Indian students they basically firstly look at their basic skills rather than their degree and the specializations. These countries usually hire students from outside mostly because they don’t have adequate trained human resources in their location.
There are various roles and functions that foreign companies provide to MA Indian graduates. These functional roles include sales and business development, BPO jobs, corporate communications, content development, clerical and secretarial roles, back office operations, customer service, etc. After these trainings MA Indian graduates then opt for specific job. It is not so difficult to hire Indian MA graduates for foreign countries. They have to pay the maximum salary.
If a company based out of UAE is hiring an MA student from India, it has to pay a minimum salary. A regular MA student gets an average of Rs 4000 to Rs 5000 up to Rs 25,000 per month depending on the spectrum of work he or she does.
Some of the foreign countries face a big challenge in terms of employing people with good communication skills hence they end up hiring fresh candidates from India having good communication skills. But most of the experts say that Indian students should have the curiosity to work with the foreign companies and to get adjusted with the new environment.Timesjobs.com has said that Middle East and North Africa have maximum share of jobs for post graduate students from India in all the fields.
