The subjects which are required at school are Business Studies/ Economics/Accountancy/ Secretarial Practice/Business Mathematics.( School Maths is mandatory only for graduate honors courses in Economics, Statistics and is advisable for BCA).

 After 10+2 one can go for graduation courses provided he should have maths as one of the subjects in +2.One can also do a graduate degree course in pure & integrated disciplines, Business Management/ Journalism, BCA. They can also go for vocational courses like pure & integrated disciplines, Business Management/ Journalism, BCA.

Eco, M. Stats, MA Operations Research, Business Economic, MFC, Computing, M.Ed., International studies,International Trade. There are lots of Employment offers one can work in Exec (Mgmt/ Fin) Airlines, Travel, Secretarial, Performing Arts, Advertising, Journalism, Media, Entrepreneurship, Banking, Insurance Defence & Protective services.

 Humanities as one of the career options also can be pursued after 10+2 with Commerce subjects. Subjects such as Geography, Psychology should have been pursued at the +2 level to pursue a graduate degree in the subject.The salary after making careers in commerce starts with basic 10,000 per month depending the course completed, the experience, location etc. The private sector provides little more pay package.
